Had wonderful day off birding with my good friend Kas. He was visiting from Idaho, and we spent the day on the Mississippi River Flats looking for the Eastern Screech Owl that had been reported in the area. Kas is one of the most active birders I’ve seen, and was very excited to find the Eastern Screech Owl – Red Morph phase (one that he hadn’t seen)!
