For Christmas, Scott and Laura got Arlene and I tickets to witness the crane migration in Kearney Nebraska. We discovered that it is very exciting event, as 600,000 sandhill cranes are visiting the area fattening up for their flight north.
We were escorted to blinds along the Platte river, where we witnessed the awakening of the river. As the morning began to brighten, the realization struck that everything you could see in the river, was indeed another crane!
