July Birds & Brews

The July “Birds and Brews” outing was a great success! Usually, getting together in the evening doesn’t produce much in the way of bird watching. This past week proved to be different. It was an evening filled with Herons, an Osprey (fishing), a Kingfisher (also fishing), and many of the local songbirds!

Here’s the list I had from the evening (I’m sure I missed some and may be off on a count or two!):

• 1 Blue Jay
• 6 American Crow
• 1 Tree Swallow
• 2 Black-capped Chickadee
• 4 American Robin
• 2 American Goldfinch
• 6 Red-winged Blackbird
• 1 Norther Cardinal
